Brushing Your Teeth
PROPER BRUSHING TECHNIQUE – DESCRIPTIVE:
- Place your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gums.
- Gently move the brush back and forth in short (tooth-wide) strokes.
- Brush the outer surfaces, the inner surfaces, and the chewing surfaces of the teeth.
- Tilt the brush vertically and stroke it up and down to clean the inside surface of the front teeth.
RECOMMENDATIONS:.
- Use a soft bristled brush which fits in your mouth.
- Brush your teeth two times a day.
- Every three months, replace your brush.
- Only use ADA-Accepted Fluoride Toothpaste.
- Avoid sugary beverages & snacks and eat a balanced diet.
- On a regular basis, visit us for prevention and treatment of oral disease.
