Brushing Your Teeth

PROPER BRUSHING TECHNIQUE – DESCRIPTIVE:

  • Place your toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gums.
  • Gently move the brush back and forth in short (tooth-wide) strokes.
  • Brush the outer surfaces, the inner surfaces, and the chewing surfaces of the teeth.
  • Tilt the brush vertically and stroke it up and down to clean the inside surface of the front teeth.

RECOMMENDATIONS:.

  • Use a soft bristled brush which fits in your mouth.
  • Brush your teeth two times a day.
  • Every three months, replace your brush.
  • Only use ADA-Accepted Fluoride Toothpaste.
  • Avoid sugary beverages & snacks and eat a balanced diet.
  • On a regular basis, visit us for prevention and treatment of oral disease.
